Title: Smart Mixing between tracks
Post by: tpapas on October 08, 2019, 19:11:08
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a plugin that can distinguish how a track ends and how the next track begins so it can perform a smarter mix between the two, for an internet radio use.
I mean the simple fading is just not good enough.
In the days of Winamp there used to be some plugins made by SqrSoft (Advanced Crossfading Output) if my memory serves me right, that used to do just that, and there was also another one, that was called advanced crossfade disk writer_out_mix2dsk13, that also allowed the user to export the output directly to a file, thus creating an hours mixset in seconds and not in real time of course.
Can AIMP do that?
I mean I know that it can export a playlist onto a file, but also smart mix?
Ideally I would also need another plugin to normalize the tracks. Is there a setting for that in AIMP, I'm not sure!
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
Regards

No, crossmixing is unavailable for streaming.

Thank you for the quick reply Artem.

Not sure exactly what you mean by streaming... Lets just assume that I only need to create a file on the hard disk from a Playlist. So forget the Internet radio etc.
Is there a way to smart mix the tracks on the playlist and export the playlist on a single file and also normalize the tracks?

You can join few files to single file (+ cue) via audio converter but without cross-mixing. Unlike Winamp, AIMP does not have output plugins.
