Title: [x] OS independent dark mode switch
Post by: s/ash on July 05, 2019, 19:16:40
AIMP 2133 introduced dark mode. Would it be possible to have an OS independent dark mode switch in Options > Interface? Auto/On/Off
Also would it be possible to have it working on Windows 7 and 8? Unless this feature uses OS resources which are present in Windows 10 only, of course.

Yep, it can be implemented, but I think that have a black application in light environment is not good idea

Having the option wouldn't hurt imo. Some other programs can also be configured to use a dark or bright theme, independently from the OS, for instance Firefox.
Windows 7 can also have its classic theme to be modified to look like a dark theme, in which case AIMP would remain bright. example (https://www.deviantart.com/slybug/art/Dark-Classic-Theme-361735679)
