Title: Installer Arguments
Post by: Deide on January 11, 2019, 19:22:30
My goal is to install and update AIMP programmatically, so I'm wondering if I can run the installer with some arguments like /S and /D for Silent and Directory, and maybe a /P to flag it for portable install, etc.

I'd also like to know if I'd be able to update a portable installation by running a new installer with the same arguments (instead of updating with the updater). If not, is there a way I could accomplish this?

Yep:

Code: [Select]
AIMP.exe /SKIN "<FileName>"

But note that after installation, opens the Preferences window on the choice of skin.

[/code]

I'm trying to install aimp silently with custom skins set as default, without going to Preferences. Any suggestions?
