Title: Can't Open files from Windows Explorer When using Preimage
Post by: technoviking10 on May 23, 2018, 10:56:55
Hi,

Loving AIMP and the sound it produces is so good! just a question, when I set the preimage of the playlist to "Music Library - Local Files", it doesnt allow me to double click on a file in Windows to open with AIMP. When I don't use a preimage, it works but then creates a playlist with that just one track I selected. Is this normal behaviour or am I missing an option somewhere? Ideally I would like to be able to double click a file and AIMP open it and just find it in my playlist and play it from there. Is this possible?

Thank you again, loving the sound!

Check your app settings (Options \ Playlist \ Adding files), looks like player trying to add the file from Windows Explorer to preimage-based playlist instead of Default / New playlist.

Is that playlist function necessary for AIMP to work?
