Title: How can one remove category without removing the tracks?

How can one remove the category, but keep the tracks like they are, at that place: http://i.imgur.com/vCb84Sv.png

No, because category is generated based on its content.

How could I avoid to let Aimp add a category when I add items to the playlist?

Or can I move the tracks of a category to somewhere without a category?

You can switch off categories (all) for the current or all playlists (Refer to the playlist or global options )
