HI.
I've done a portable installation of AIMP 5.40.2689. I believe a portable installation is better than doing a regular installation, as settings are not stored in the registry (this logic may be wrong, hence this message).
Previously, when the app was closed, all open playlists were automatically saved and reopened when the app was restarted.
Now only the same playlist opens on startup. And despite closing it before exit, it stubbornly refuses to stay closed - yet any other playlists I drag into AIMP are completely ignored when the app is closed & reopened...😡
I don't think it's a version issue, as the same thing happens with older versions.
What is causing this behaviour?
Do I need to NOT install it as a portable installation?
Regards,
Ivan

I have the portable installation installed in the folder:
"D:\Program Files\AIMP (local install or unofficial install)"
I've always done portable installations and never had this strange problem of the open playlists not being saved when the app exits. ???
I have 12 instances open at the same time (using the "/debug" switch) each streaming a different radio station.
I assume a normal installation places information in the registry; would this make any difrference? Or, as I suspect, would it just make things worse?
