Title: Collaboration with AudioSurf and/or FabFilter
Post by: TF3RDL on September 21, 2025, 01:01:17
As for AudioSurf (and to the extent, Dylan Fitterer), I'd imagine that it would have an AIMP visualization that display what AudioSurf's algorithm works in terms of generating its tracks (but in realtime and not playable as a game) as well as a function to create custom .ash/.asa files (for further tweaks like making the track react to bass) for both AudioSurf games after offline analysis

As for FabFilter, I'd imagine that there will be a realtime spectrum analyzer like foo_enhanced_spectrum_analyzer and ITU-R BS.1770-5 compliant true peak/RMS/LUFS bars and graphs visualization similar to foo_loudness_peakmeter for foobar2000, but as a separate window (to allow AIMP visualizations to be active while a spectrum analyzer and realtime LUFS metering window is also active if possible)

BTW, I don't mind if these doesn't happen, just an idea I've throw onto it

and what about putting actual AudioSurf visualizer into AIMP and make it an actual realtime visualization?

and do you need collaboration with Dylan Fitterer to make this above happen?
