Title: How to resize the thumbnails ?
Post by: ceo54 on August 03, 2025, 21:43:31
Hello,

New AIMP user, latest version. In the Library, how can I reduce the thumbnail size, to be able to fit more albums in the view ?

2. Are there any filters for library that I can configure and use ? Such as different library subsets to show and be able to select based on different conditions.

3. Is there any Inbox like thing in Aimp where I can tell aimp to place all the newly added files ?

4. Is there any auto-playlists ? like 25 newly added albums ?

5. Does aimp has a spectrum viewer to verify the spectrum data in the files ?

6. Does aimp has an option to send the tracks to other applications with custom commands ?

Oh, well. I should shut up now.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

As in the Explorer: CTRL+Wheel.

There are filters. Open the grouping menu above the music library tree. Three stripes or context menu.

Turn on the "New tracks" grouping.

There are smart playlists. But the possibilities may not be as wide as you dream of.

Yes. Look at the plugins section on the site.

Yes. Look at the plugins section on the site.

You will find some more detailed answers in the player's help and in the links from the rules topic. Information on some of the questions may have already been published on the forum, but in the "native" (Russian) language.

It is better to name the topic differently (with a general phrase), because other users will think that one question was asked when they search for answers to the questions asked. Or it is acceptable to create different topics for different questions, as an alternative to "feedback" in the site menu.

Hello, Mr. I apologize I can't read the Russian script so I'll have to refrain from addressing you by your good name.

CTRL+Wheel, I have a laptop without mouse but I tried Ctrl+ +/- (plus, minus) buttons and it had no impact.

I don't mean the filters for the groupings, I meant the filters for the library itself. Like I tell the player which library to display based on different conditions.

Rest I will try in the due time, if for the life of me I coud figure out how to scale down the thumbnails.

In laptops, usually, the touchpad is responsible for this: scrolling zone, finger movement. Depends on the manufacturer of the touchpad and its settings panel.
Without it. You can open the aimp.ini file in the profile folder and edit the "Table.Zoom" parameter. Editing will be done with the player closed. Minimum 50 maximum 200.

Describe the task in more detail.
There is a filter in the grouping properties. For example, I have files from a certain folder with a certain duration filtered. The grouping itself is performed according to the conditions I need. Then in the table view I set up sorting of several columns in the desired order by clicking the column names while holding down CTRL.
