Title: [x] [2674] Problems in random playing tracks
Post by: maciejak on March 30, 2025, 12:07:25: [2670] Problems in random playing tracks. Problem look like: i playing some tracks and sometimes and random aimp have problem with decoding like in record. Record of problem in link on Your gmail Artem. Problem is random and can't give steps to reproduce.

1) Download it and install
2) As soon as issue will be happened again, refer to app settings \ playback
3) Click the 'start trace recording' and select output file.
4) Record just few seconds with distortions and click "stop"
5) Now, compress the output file (our upload it to some cloud storage) and send it to me.

Clicking the "Start tracing recording", you should select the file where debug data will be stored. Do not select your files with useful data...

PS 1. What with file DSD SACD and distortions ??
2. Now, i notice problem in aimp : Aimp sometimes when track ending and go to next track then do self exit. That make me nervous.

I've no idea whan may goes wrong here... I failed to reproduced the issue on my side.

So, the issue was not solved. Does AIMP or OS reports anything about the crash?

Please, replace the libsoxr (located in AIMP's folder) with one of following (according of bitness of your app version):

You should look for something about AIMP.exe

But, try latest libsoxr. I hope it resolve the both issues

It not necessary. I know that something goes wrong inside libsoxr.

Please, try to catch both issues (with DSD and distortions). I already include the libsoxr from previous post, so you should not replace it manually.

In last 2673 Aimp still have problem with one song in dsd. During playing song aimp do few times pause.

Yes, I have committed all changes for the month, while the build is stable.
Now, it's time for continue the research.

Since I blame the changes in the resampler, let's try to disable it: set sampling frequency
to 44100 in the output settings (this the frequency is used by DSD decoder by default).
Will pause occurs now?

So, another think to check:
1) Refer the AIMP\Plugins\aimp_sacd\
2) Open the aimp_sacd.ini
3) Set the PCMSampleFloat to 1
4) Save and restart the app

Will it solve the issue? If not - try to change PCMSampleRate to 176400. Let me know about your results.

Please, try the options independently from each other. I've no idea what option exactly have fixed the issue in your case
