I'm fairly new to AIMP.
I'm currently using v5.30.2563 on Windows 11.
Almost all my music files are MP3 or FLAC.
After I add some new files, I update the library (Preferences/File Monitoring/Update).
Then update using "Find New Files".
However in some instances I am getting the artist's music spread over multiple library folders.
I don't know what is causing AIMP to enter the audio files in different folders.
They are all in the same folder in Windows.
Maybe there's something in the meta data that is causing this.
As an example I have approx 40 songs from The Animals (from the same source).
However AIMP has spread them over 5 folders.
Each folder is called "The Animals" but each has a different Chinese (or similar) character add to the English name, hence creating different folders.
I can't see these Chinese characters anywhere in the files data of each song.
Is there a way to force AIMP to locate them all in the one library folder?

Can you illustrate the issue via screenshots?

I have attached a screenshot of the various "The Animals" listed in AIMP.
For some reason there is also another entry "Animals" (not in the screenshot).
The rest of my library appears to be single entries.
Thanks

Can you share one of tracks from this album?

I think I've found the problem (see attached).
I think all I have to do is edit the properties of each mp3 file to correct the "Contributing Artist".
I had looked at the files before, but had not expanded the window to see all the details.
Thanks for the help and patience. :)
UPDATE
All fixed now.
Also found several other incorrectly labeled files in my library.
However for some reason there were a couple of folders where I couldn't alter any of the details of the audio files inside.

Glad to listen that the issue has been solved.
