Title: Edit a single file with all the music tracks and cue file in chapters editor?
Post by: Biff on September 22, 2024, 10:36:58
When there is a single music file with a cue file for all the tracks of an album it seems I cannot just drag the song to be edited with the mouse to the chapters editor (is there a way to do it?). I have to drag the already existing cue file to that editor. When I do that the "disabled" tracks are "enabled" again. Is there a way to avoid that?

After editing and saving the cue file there seems to be something wrong with the titles, here "A Night in Mexico":

When I do not enter a title in the chapters editor the title of the next track is shown automatically in the playlist instead of the one being edited. Is there a way to avoid that?

Thank you very much!
So it seems it is not possible to just drag the song (from the playlist) in this case (with single files without cue it is) to the Advanced Tag Editor to open it in the Chaptors editor be edited? One always has to open the entire music file (which takes 1, 2 minutes or so to load each time after saving in the Chaptors editor and re-opening again after saving each time). One has to drag the music file (not the cue file), here "The Mephisto Waltz & The Other.ape", to the Advanced Tag Editor? Or add it via the context menu? So a completely different approauch than the one with a single file (being dragged from the playlist?

Yes, it impossible. Because playlist displays cue-items, not the file
