AIMP has difficulty with one of the podcasts I listen to - The Skeptic Zone.
It takes several seconds to respond to play, pause etc. The main problem is that AIMP is slow in displaying the player on the Lock Screen. Mostly the screen blanks before the player appears. When the player appears, it is cut off at the bottom, making it difficult to select the pause button.
It generally takes me several attempts to pause the podcast so that I can actually unlock the phone.
I listen to over 30 podcasts and this is the only one that causes AIMP problems.
I apparently cannot extend the Lock Screen timeout on my phone.
Any idea why AIMP struggles with this particular podcast.

Can you illustrate the issue via screenshots? Can you provide an url for the podcast? I will try to reproduce an issue on my side.

This is system style widget, looks like a bug in firmware.

The following symptoms seem incompatible with this being a bug in the firmware:
- when I open AIMP with this podcast selected, the screen goes blank for several seconds
- when I select play, it takes several seconds for the audio to start
- when I select pause, it takes several seconds for the audio to stop
- when I switch on the lock screen, it takes several seconds for the player to appear and the player is abbreviated
This does not happen with any other podcast. This podcast is causing AIMP to be slow in responding.

Refer to the "About" dialog of the app, and check the "enable logging" option. Restart the app. Now, reproduce an issue and send the log file to me. Please, report to me a approximate time when issue was happened.

I created the log but have no idea where it is on my phone.
BTW everything is slow when an episode of The Skeptic Zone is current. Scrolling the playlist is glacial.

In about, you will find the "share" button next to "enable logging" option

First, you should enable logging. You cannot share report if it was not created

Sorry about the delay in responding.
I selected an episode of the podcast, enabled logging, closed AIMP, started AIMP, pressed play and several seconds later pressed pause.
I then sent the log to my PC. During the whole process, the UI is slow in responding.

You should enable logging first... Now, file loading process is not logged.

I did the following:
- enabled logging
- stopped AIMP
- started AIMP
- selected episode of The Skeptic Zone
- selected play
At about the 30 second mark, the Podcast Title was replaced by a continuously scrolling string of random Unicode? characters (see attached).
This appears to be where the slow responses start.
I stopped the audio and sent the log to my PC.
The software now seems to think that the title string is extremely long. I think this is the cause of the slow responses.

Yep, now I see. It seems like file tags corruption. Can you share this file for analysis?

As far as I can tell, all episodes suffer from the problem.
I have tried twice to attach an episode but the posts appear to have failed.

I think that file is too big for forum. Please, use Google Drive or any other cloud storage
