Title: AIMP does not show the files suported by system decoders
Post by: paulonline on January 28, 2024, 01:04:59
Preferences > Transform > Allow System decoders usage ON
Preferences > Plugins > Decoders > Free Lossless Audio Codec OFF
1- It restarts the app and plays the FLAC files of the playlist but does not show FLAC files on the window that adds new files to the playlist.
2- How to know what is the decoder of the system being used by AIMP?

The suggestion is to show, on the window that adds files to the playlist, the files that the system decoders supports when the internal decoder is unload.

Windows does not provide a list of file extensions, so you cannot display it. Just only try to decode the file.

What file format you want to decode?

Just play FLAC files.

AIMP can play FLAC files using built-in decoders. Ensure that bass_FLAC plugin is loaeded
