Hello friends! I haven't seen this mentioned as a solution to all of your various DSP problems with using either VST2 or VST3 formats in both x64 and x86 bit flavors...BUT you can install Blue Cat's Patchwork VST2 and it will enable you to utilize both VST2 AND VST3! The only issue is that you have to remain faithful to your chosen "bit-ness"...I hope this helps!!!

Glad to be of service!!!!  I am going to see if the Linux app, Carla is compatible next.
