Title: How to simply play a folder full of music files
Post by: cmdrbeavis@gmail.com on November 03, 2023, 21:53:02
when in Android Auto mode / in the car, this works exactly as I'd want it to. Select a folder, drill down until you find the folder you want to play, click play! Easy.

Why then can't I find ANY WAY AT ALL to simply do the same thing when I'm just on my phone?! I cannot figure out how the F to simply select a folder, and tell this app to play the music within it! SO FRUSTRATING!

Please help!

P.S. You know, some of us have shit math skills, these verifications are seriously annoying. I cannot believe I have to do fucking Algebra in order to ask a question here.

Open the "My Music" from main menu, open the "Folders" view and do same things that you did in Android Auto's screen.

It's frustrating that I can't simply select a folder on my phone and have the music app play from it, like in Android Auto. Can you help with this?

I think the problem is that My Music > Folders works well, and you can add folders very conveniently from there - but can you set it as the default instead of going My Music > Folders every time you start the app? If you close the app (for good, not minimise) and then reopen it, the screen will show the last track it way playing, but there is no easy way to go back to the folder structure. The back button simply exits the program rather than going to the folder as it would in Pulsar. It would be nice if there were a way to make the My Music > Folders page the default page and it would open on the last folder you picked.

Not being able to find an easy way to select folders and play music from your phone can be frustrating. One solution might be to look for other music apps that have this feature, or you might consider sending feedback to the developer of the app you're using to request that this feature be added in future releases. update later
