Hi,
Is there an option to make aimp forget where my scroll position is when I quit and re open the program?
When I exit aimp I want it to start with the scroll bar at the top every time, not remember where I was when I clicked exit button halfway down my playlist.
I remember there was an option that enabled this in a older version but I cant seem to find an option that allows aimp to forget scroll position upon exit.
Thank you for any help ! Kind regards!

Both of these options are already set like you showed and are not working. I will try a clean install to see if this fixes the issue.
Thank you for the help!

I have done a clean install of aimp.
I set "On app startup" to "Do Nothing".
"Restore Playback position for each playlist" was already set to OFF.
Maybe this is a bug I am encountering?

Can you record a small video that illustrates the issue?

No problem.

Oh, you want to disable scroll position restoring. Sorry, I was inattentive. Can you provide details about your scenario where current behavior is annoying?
-
If I open aimp I would rather it opened and have the scroll position at the top of my music list everytime regardless of where it was positioned when I exited aimp previously.
Also If the scroll position is halfway down my list, and I search for an artist using the search bar, the search results will display halfway down the list and not at the top of the list.

Don't use aimppl4 file extension for a playlists.
1 If playlist file types are associated with AIMP
"File Adding — Open playlist files in new tabs" — uncheck, then don't run AIMP directly from Start/LaunchBar/desktop — just run a PLAYLIST file (or a shortcut to it)…
2 If multiple playlists not used at a time — activate "Single Playlist mode".

This is not an issue. App remembers view point of the lists.

I don't understand what wrong with remember scrolling position. What reason to reset it each restart?

Searching for an artist/album the results would always be displayed from the top of the list. Displaying search results from the middle of the list is a little counter-intuitive dont you think?

Even if you scroll the view and restart the app? Why app should not restore precious state?

I think some people prefer it to start at top of playlist every time aimp is opened. It is annoying to have to scroll to top before searching in order to display search results from the top of the list.
Why does the current version of aimp not support a toggle of this feature? I remember I had older version of aimp and it reset its playlist location to top everytime I launched/searched.

No, it does not. Yes, we have some troubles with music library panes, but playlist always remember it view point.

I've moved your topic to suggestions. Please, vote. If more than 10 people need this behavior off, I will implement the option
