Title: Optimizing Audio Quality
Post by: BobbyNeal on August 23, 2023, 14:03:13
"I'm currently utilizing an AUNE USB Mini DAC-Amplifier connected to a Sony VAIO laptop running 64-bit Windows 10. My aim is to optimize the quality of the audio output. When I navigate to the AIMP Playback options and select WASAPI: Windows default or WASAPI: Speakers (USB Audio DAC), the settings display 48000 Hz and 32 Bit. However, if I opt for WASAPI Exclusive (Event): Speakers (USB Audio DAC), the second parameter shifts to 16 Bit. Regardless, when I play HiRes audio files like those at 192 kHz and 32 Bit, the AIMP Options present the following data:
Input: 192000 Hz / 32 Bit (Float)
Output: 48000 Hz / 32 BitIs there a way to achieve a 192000 Hz output?"

In addition to checking where Soolo indicated in your Windows options, also be sure you have set up AIMP to output a 192khz sample rate in Prefs/Playback:
