When I add a playlist in some album folder to Aimp it is shown to be located in
\Aimp\Profile\PLS\

instead of in the folder the playlist I just added is in?
Why is that? How could I make Aimp show the real location?

AIMP always store playlists to it's own storage in internal format
-
Player import playlists rather than using existing ones. This is done to optimize the performance of the player.
Specify the source of the external playlist and then the data will be taken from it.

OK. Isn't that an unexpected behavior? One adds a playlist and would expect that playlist is used and shown in the location field (instead of some different one suddenly).

So the player might get slower, e.g. when to start / go on playing the next track (how I just have written in another thread)? So it actually would be better to not to use it?

Okey, I never had understood what this option is good for. So changes done in the playlists in Aimp would be overwritten in the original playlists (in the album folders) when setting it to "Playlist"?

No, current behavior is correct

Okey, of course, but unexpected.

What I posted ended up not being true. AIMP computer generates a new aimppl4 playlist upon adding files to the playlist. So you have to export to xspf and then copy that file over to the android phone.
