Title: A visual bug in Android 12
Post by: rado84 on April 20, 2023, 13:09:49
6 months ago I bought a Nokia G21 and originally it was with Android 11. Then, yesterday, they finally released a system upgrade to Android 12. As usual AIMP works quite fine but I discovered a weird visual bug with the skins of AIMP when certain phone settings are chosen.

When these precise settings have been chosen in Android 12's Settings app

This happens with AIMP's interface and it happens with ALL skins:

Since I have a backup of AIMP's settings, I tried by returning AIMP's settings to default to see whether it will get fixed but it didn't, so I restored my settings.

If you could fix that visual bug, it would be great bc the phone looks a lot better with the settings shown above. I'm not a fan of huge visual elements which is the default setting for Android 12, not to mention that with smaller visual elements I can see more of the playlists without having to change playlist settings.

This is not a bug, app switched to tablet layout (because of screen density). Refer to app settings / interface and switch the layout option to phone

Perfect, that did it! Thanks!

I didn't even know AIMP had layout settings!  :-[
