Title: Sound in android question

I have question dsd files don,t have meaning because android all convert to 16 bit 44 khz. Mean 24 bit files is convert by Android to 16 bit.
True or false? Please explain sound in android

Usually it true, all formats converts to 16 bit and 48 kHz
