Title: Rating "change" the track format
Post by: DJ-AS on August 21, 2022, 00:59:32
I realized that changing the rating of a track also changes the format of the track number and the disc number, in addition to adding other fields such as description, totaltracks and some others
Is there any way that only the RATING tag is modified and not all the others?
Use v5.03, build 2397 32-bit

How to reproduce that? Please, provide some examples.

AIMP has validates the tag values according specification. "Before" was filled incorrectly. Total information should not be included in track/disk number tag field

Good! So, there is a way to Rating without "fix" this fields?

Even better: do you have or you please can tell me where I can found a guide, tutorial, or something to guide me to tag my flac and mp3 files correctly?
Thanks in advance.

In general case, no. Player cannot just patch already existing stream (in general case), it should re-build to correct offsets, paddings and sizes.
