Title: My jumplist has disappeared
Post by: lingard on March 12, 2022, 17:01:11
I used to have a jumplist whenever I right-clicked on AIMP in the taskbar. However, it seems to have disappeared. Now, all I see is a section called 'Tasks'.

Is there any way to get the jumplist back?

What is jumplist? What it contained?

The jumplist contained recently played files. The jumplist section itself had a header which said 'Recent'.

One day AIMP had it. Then the next day, it was gone.

The other programs in my taskbar seem to still have their jumplists, so I don't think it's an OS problem. But I'm not an expert.

I figured out how to fix it. You have to delete all the files in the following two folders:

    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations
    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations
