Title: Will Aimp ever get basic video support?

Will Aimp ever get basic video support? it's the only thing missing, being able to play basic files like avi, mp4, mpg, wmv.
If not, please make it open source so others can implement basic video play. Dasvidaniya

that's a strange attitude for a dev to have.
People make open source apps precisely to get more options and better UX, overall better apps. Anyway, with this attitude I'll be using something else.

if their have no time or interest to develop the app by himself. As I say before, I don't want to see clones of my app. If some one want to improve the app it may leave suggestion, or extend functionality by himself via plugin.

So, how open source can solve this? You can write plugin that will do this thing.

I can't write the plugin, as I said, I had the solution, using external app, but it does not work anymore. I'm using one plugin as workaround now, but it's not the best solution - and it's OT here.

Anyway, if such simple feature can't be added, your advice to "leave suggestion" is just not working.

If you look at suggestion list, you will see that many features are easy to implement, but not required by most users. I don't want to complicate the App by adding the features that will useful for few of people. Sorry.
