Title: Playlist list on left or right side as a list?
Post by: Lornberg on November 20, 2020, 15:01:28
Topic says it all - right now I am using the default skin and all the playlists are a bit too much in the normal position. I was wondering if there is some way to get like a list of playlists as a vertical list on the right or left side of the player?

Yes you can un-dock the Playlist window and move it around anywhere/resize it as you like.  Go into the AIMP/Profile/Skins folder. open the *.ini file of the skin you use in a text editor and go to the [PlaylistFrame] section; then change the value "Docked=1" to "Docked=0".

I normally configure it as shown in the pic.

You can undock the playlist window just by dragging it away from the main window, no need to edit the .ini file.

Anyways, that's not what he wants. He is talking about the playlist list, i.e. tabs.

Yeah the problem is once you start having more then a few playlists you would either need to scroll a lot to the right or use the dropdown menue.

The yellow marked stuff should be a vertical list instead - a list of lists if you will. Does any skin support this? Is that even possible?

Got ya--I don't know how he'd do it then.  I mentioned checking the dock value because once when setting up from scratch I dragged the playlist directly on top of the player body, and from then on it "stuck" docked to the bottom no matter what I did until I changed that value.
