This feature would be very useful for me. Just release the file while playing, so that user can move it or delete it.
Currently, if I want to play the file and then delete it or move it in the file manager, I have to switch to AIMP and stop it first, every time - if not there's an annoying error dialog, so I have to close dialog, stop file in AIMP and then switch to file manager and delete it.
I'm using cache size 20 MB, so the file could be playing even if deleted, I think Winamp has such option.
Anyway, video player PotPlayer has this option even for 20GB files, it's possible to move them or delete them (to recycle bin) while it's still playing, it's very useful and I really miss this feature in AIMP.
Thank You in advance.

It impossible to implement according our app architecture. To release the file just stop playback

Thanks for quick reply. :(
Anyway, this feature would be really useful for me, what about some workaround, option to create a copy of playing file, so the playing file would be different than original file?

Copy a full path of the destination in a File Manager, go to AIMP playlist → F4 → F2, select the old path (not a "\<filename>" !!!) → Ctrl+V → Enter.
If you don't have Play/Stop Media keys (or global shortcuts), just run another audiofile and drag that released file and drop it into background of another directory, then play run selected file again.
You can create a hardlink in that folder for the playing file, but AIMP uses ALL (and just created) hardlinks too!

Thanks for hint.
However, the problem is, that while any song is playing and I move or delete it in the file manager, error dialog is shown, so I can use a global hotkey/multimedia key to stop the song, but I have to click also the error dialog.
I will be using stop key+click "retry", I found, that using just Stop+Enter doesn't work, so if I want to use just keyboard, I have to use Stop+Left arrow+Enter.
