Hey there. First of all, i love AIMP. Thanks for your hard work.
My suggestion is as mentioned on title, able to album date on the album cover option. Foobar has it on some themes. And it would be great to have this on AIMP too.

But i want to underline my point of the suggestion again; making option for this feature would be great. It will make more space for 'Groups Layout Customizations'. With big covers library view mode there are not enough space remaining for other metadata to display.

Looks good, but what if user's grouping doesn't including year?

You can exclude or include whatever metadata you want from groups layout customization right now. Adding an extra option to 'Display this metada on cover art' would do the trick. This wouldn't be a crucial function but would be a nice touch imo.

In addition to my suggestion, displaying file format information on the right bottom corner of the cover art could be nice touch too. I hope to hear what our lord and savior @Artem's thoughts about this suggestions.

I might understand your question wrong but yeah it can be clickable. Same goes for album date or any other metadata.
I tried to visualise the suggestion with my pro paint skills.
