Hi there,

I'm using AIMP4 on Windows 10 64 bits with an ESI Juli@ soundboard (http://j.mp/esijulia) right now and its latest drivers: Juli@ v1.21 (64bit).

I'm using the RCA output. I have a bunch of options under MENU > Preferences > Playback > Playback options > Device, but I'm not sure which's the best for my case:

I have been searching the web for some info about what ASIO is, what DirectSound is and what WASAPI is, but there's a lot of chatting out there and people uses these 3 audio interfaces in many different ways, and it's hard for me to understand which option should I choose in the case of AIMP.

So, could some savvy folks teach me a little and explain me, please:

I'm pretty sure this question has already asked & answered in any AIMP's russian forum. However since I don't understand Russian —and Google Translate doesn't always help—, I need some English speaker to explain this to me, please‼ Would that be possible?

Briefly, use default:
WASAPI: Speakers (Juli@ Audio) or
WASAPI: ESI Juli@ RCA (Juli@ Audio) or
WASAPI: ESI Juli@ S/PDIF (Juli@ Audio)

Just one last question about this. Please, take a look at the screenshot below:

24 bits doesn't appear in AIMP4 under WASAPI mode. Windows 10 is already set as stereo / 24 bit / 192,000 Hz (studio quality). Should I leave AIMP4 as 32 bits, as seen in the screenshot?

32 bit - ok :)
