Hi there

sanb kindly requested a conversion of my XMPlay Plugin for wrapping Winamp vis plugins (link), and after some initial obstacles it is now ready :-)
As it was primary intended for wrapping MilkDrop2, it was mainly tested with it. Most features should/could work :-)

Thank you very much, really great work!
milkdrop was the only reason why i still had winamp installed on my system, now i finally can get rid of it! 

(the bad thing on the other hand is, i now need to rework my skin which i had just finished, because when i made it i had no reason to insert space for visualisation plugin )

I found a small mistake in "aimp_vis_winamp.txt"

How to load a Winamp Plugin:

      1. ...
      2. Press the middle mouse button on the visualisation window

   
but should be "2. Press the left mouse button on the visualisation window"
   
Please treason this in the next release

PS would you make a Russian version of the plugin? i can help you with translation

This plugin not working with new version of AIMP 2.5
it connects and boots but not function "left mouse button on the visualisation window"

please remake them for new AIMP version

you can find new SDK at  here AIMP2 SDK (17.02.2010)

hmm, it doesn't seem like much changed for the visuals SDK... But AIMP 2.5 just doesn't seem to call the DisplayClick function when the user left clicks the visuals screen, even though it's still in the newest SDK and in the visuals demo provided with it, so I guess it's a bug, but I'm not sure.

So the only thing that I could come up with was to change the mouse click to a hotkey.
Means now the config menu can be opened by pressing CTRL, ALT and SPACE at the same time while the AIMP window is focused.

Hi, I am trying your wrapper with G-Force. It works but when I am in Fullscreen mode and I use the on-screen g-force interface to change the resolution to 1280x720 and restart fullscreen (necessary), the resolution has changed and G-Force looks 100x better! BUT, there is an ugly vertical green bar on the left side and the black background is white! It's looking very weird.

How can I fix this? Is this because for none of the AIMP2 visualisations it is possible to select a res higher than 800x600?

Well, to fix this problem you should ask barna, but we hadn't seen him at the forum for a long time... So you should e-mail him about this bug.

It says it cant load some specific winamp dll module and milkdrop just doesnt start.
