Title: Automatically Remove Tracks From Playlist After Completing (Pruning)
Post by: Dypsis on January 10, 2018, 09:49:03
I use Single Playlist Mode and just add tracks or albums to the single Default Playlist. It would be great if they were automatically removed after they had finished playing. MusicBee and MediaMonkey call it "Pruning".

It would be good if AIMP had the ability to automatically remove each track from the Playlist as it is completed.

The plugin automatically switch off the tracks in the playlist after playing them

Thanks.
I'll have a look at that. Maybe "switch off" means remove.

Unfortunately, AutoSwitchers is not working, or maybe it has a different use.  :-\

Hi cesarpagonza.

I almost gave up on AIMP.
I have installed the plugin, but it's not working.
Below are the settings that I have used. What do I need to do to get it to work?

I still don't understand why it is not natively supported like other players.  ???

I've been using Track Preview, but I didn't know about the other options, it can disable song when it's fully played, that's great...

...but it does not work, it's a bug, where can I report it? When can I ask questions or suggest an improvement for this plugin?

We have 2 confirmation of that bug, me and Dypsis.

Steps to reproduce:

- enable Track preview
- set begin percent to 0 and end percent to 100
- for "When preview played fully" set "Switch track off" or "Delete track from playlist"
- play any mp3 song fully
= song is not disabled / removed from playlist

BTW - It works good with option "When Next button pressed during preview" and it works also with "When preview played fully" when using percent options 25 and 75, but it doesn't work with 1 and 99.

Another issue: I suggest to change "Delete track from playlist" to "Remove track from playlist".

Suggestion: Make this plugin work per playlist, so we could enable it for one playlist and disable for another.

Question: Is it possible to rename the plugin and use 2 different instances at once? Because when using "auto remove track" feature, I can't use original feature "Track preview if I want, because I have to use options 0/100%".

AIMP v4.60 build 2156, Windows 10 64-bit 1909.

I have confirmed the plugin doesn't work.
This functionality built into AIMP would be good. But a working plugin will do me.
