Title: Unable to play files from UNC path
Post by: dami on December 06, 2017, 12:38:21
AIMP does not add files from UNC path to the playlist. E.g. when trying to add a folder \\192.168.1.x\mymusic\ through the Windows explorer context menu, it does nothing.
Another way - menu Open files, insert the path to the explorer window, select file(s), click Open - files are not added to the playlist.

AIMP v4.50, build 2048, Windows 10.0.16299.64

EDIT:
Must have been a glitch in my PC, after restarting the computer everything works fine and playing from UNC path is working as expected.

I must confirm some issue exists and arises after playing few files/folders after restarting the PC.
I can play individual files from the UNC path through the context menu.
But when I try to play an UNC folder this way (Rightclick on a folder, select AIMP/Play), AIMP stops playback, clears the Default playlist but does not anything to it from the folder contents (which is the expected behavior - it does so when playing a folder from the local or mapped drives).

I have disabled the antivirus and firewall to no avail.

The issue has been resolved by upgrading to the latest version of Synology NAS firmware.
